Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well worth the visit for car enthusiasts (or even if you are not) - a great and interesting collection. Robert and Edith took time to share their passion and experiences with us and introduced us to their pet Texas Long Horns!

A nice collection of cars and pictural record of teh places that the hosts had visited. A good range of vehicles, not exceptionally rare, but very well presented.

Neither my husband or I are car people and we only visited here because a friend of ours wanted photos and we were to be in the area. I was pleasantly surprised with the museum, particularly the restored vehicles. The other cars were not as interesting to us but we were with friends and our male friend loved them all. The host Edith was lovely and we spent a bit of time chatting with her and she told us the back stories on most of the vehicles. The Texas Longhorns are worth seeing too. Entry is $20 a single and $30 a double so very reasonable.

Caught the hosts out as we just turned up but they where very welcoming to show us through the place. Wonderfully set up and the longhorns just top it off. Could have spent all day there.

What a great place visit while in Roma. It was our first time here but will definitely be back again. Robert & Edith are lovely people and eager to tell all about their display. The cars where incredible & it was good to see any old ones. The knowledge they have is fantastic & the TexanLonghorn cows where great to see, wouldn’t want to be on the wrong end of the horns. They are also happy for you take photos & videos of the collection. They’ve also done some amazing trips, morning tea was great too, good time to sit & have a chat with them. Would highly recommend it.

Robert and Edith were excellent hosts. Their vision for what they want to achieve with this attraction is amazing. Loved the cars and the Texas longhorns. Morning tea and conversations with both of them. What a lovely place.
As well we had a small issue with our car and Robert fixed it in no time.
Thoroughly recommend a visit. They treat everyone like friends.

Edith was simply the most delightful host, giving a grand tour of their cherished collection. Every piece has a personal history, and the walls are full of photos from their adventures.

Outback, their “pet” longhorns are awaiting, beautiful animals clearly well looked after. The out back also has numerous relics of the past and is worth the stroll around.

I can’t recommend visiting Up The Creek Garage enough, well worth your time if you are in Roma.

We loved seeing the cars and hearing the stories behind their origins! The longhorn cattle were also fun. Definitely recommend this!

My husband and I visited there a week ago. Hubby is the car enthusiast, but I soon became interested!
I was amused by the long horned beasties!

Not that large a museum, but very well laid out with a great ambiance and variety of interesting cars of yesteryear.
After a thoroughly entertaining visit and tour with Edith, we were kindly presented with a little bag of 'goodies' which turned out to be so useful and enjoyable on our road trip.

Here’s a place just off the Main Street in Roma where you can find two longhorn steers and plenty of classic cars (right hand drive and left hand drive), including my favorite, the Ford Mustang. Robert and Edith are excellent hosts who have recently driven across the Nullarbor from Adelaide to Perth in their 1993 Ford Falcon station wagon. You’ll see this vehicle and many others on this interesting living museum and workshop. Ask Robert and Edith anything about Queensland and they can help you plan your holiday.
