    Fantastic Friendly Informative Service
Dea provided us with outstanding service during the lead up to our recent visit and when we attended the Whitsundays Visitor Information Centre. Each place she suggested had breathtaking views and the dining options she pointed out were exceptional. We enjoyed being constantly impressed by the quality and variety of the local cuisine.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We are so happy to hear that our recommendations helped you to enjoy your stay in The Whitsundays even more.

    Highly recommend their services
My partner and I needed help organising and arranging a day trip while we are on holiday in Airlie beach. Dea from Whitsundays visitor information centre went above and beyond. She organised our day and gave us plenty of options to choose from. The whole experience was fast and extremely friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
Thank you kindly for your feedback and 5 Star Review. We are so glad to hear you found our services valuable and enjoyed your holiday in The Whitsundays.

    LIKE MAKING A NEW FRIEND!
We went to Airlie Beach for the first time for a milestone birthday week holiday. I rang the Information Centre from Sydney beforehand to get some tips on where to stay, what to see, where to go to make best use of our days up there. It was my luck to have the lovely DEA (Visitor Services Manager) pick up the phone! Delightful, welcoming, informative, knowledgeable. In the more than 45 minutes on the phone, I felt like I had made a new friend. So much so, in fact, that during our stay up there, on the way back from an excursion, we made a diversion just so we could visit the Centre and meet Dea in person! Don't be fooled by the Centre's small, modest and humble appearance on the outside. And the three photos on their website don't do the place justice, either! This Aladdin's Cave has: * a mini farm, with alpacas, goats, pigs and poultry - free of charge; * an aviary with so many varieties of feathered friends - free of charge; * an open-air cafe with lush staghorns and fernery - and gorgeous parrots!; Speaking of the cafe, how about THIS! The beans from which your coffee is made are grown and roasted on the premises! Next to the car park is an unfenced coffee plantation, and within the cafe is a floor-to-ceiling coffee bean roaster. So you can literally have a photo standing next to the coffee trees, with the growing beans in one hand, and your favourite brew in the other - as we did. So unique! Not to be outdone by the coffee growers, there are beehives on a hill at the back of the property, the honey from which is also sold at the cafe! Who would think that visiting the Information Centre would have been one of my happiest memories of my stay, but it truly was! And that speaks volumes about Dea.
Thank you very much for your wonderful and insightful feedback on the Visitor Information Centre and Whitsunday Gold Coffee Plantation. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit and found our service helpful. We look forward to your next visit. :)

While travelling around Queensland we were very pleased to come across the Proserpine Tourist Information Centre. Neyla (hope the spelling is correct) and her team were not only knowledgeable about their surrounding area but were the friendliest and most helpful crew you would ever like to meet. They were incredibly professional with all the bookings we required for caravan parks and cruises and gave us tips about local eateries, places to visit and made us feel so welcome. We can’t give them enough praise for all their help and would highly recommend a visit to this centre if you are in the area. 💯💯💯💯💯

Lots of useful information about what to do in the area. Nele who served us gave great suggestions on what to do and where to go for a nice meal. You could tell she knew what she was talking about and she was very enthusiastic.
Encouraged us to explore and come back if we had any questions or needed help.

We were helped by a really lovely and helpful person Dea. We only had 2 days to book tours and with such short notice during Airlie Yacht Race Week. Dea looked at many options for us and managed to book us on two amazing trips - Sealink Whitsunday to Hill Inlet and Whitehaven and also to the outer reef to Reef World. Dea was so patient and efficient and printed everything out for us. This was the first time we had used an Info Centre to book and now it won’t be our last. Thank you so much Dea for making these two days an absolute highlight of our road trip. Dea is the best example of what customer service is all about.

Great friendly service from Nele. She was helpful and gave us few options suitable to us. She was an excellent listener and focused on our needs. She also gave us great ideas for our next trip. She encouraged us to come back and do more things.

Visiting here by accident (we were going to that excellent coffee and menagerie next door) was such a bonus to our holiday in the Whitsundays. The staff here were so helpful, and so cheerful, they really helped put us in a holiday mood and went out of their way to find really good deals for our large family.
