Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small stone church open for visitors most days. Over 40 years to rebuild. Gold coin donation. Beautiful windows. Unusual mosaic feature behind the altar. Plaque at church about seeds planted from large west indies tree by pioneer but I couldn't see a tree.

The outside drew us in, to see what is a memorial to their dedicated pastor who started building this church. He was there from 1904 to 1950 and died before it was completed.

As well as its history, we noted that there were stations of the cross on the walls - in an Anglican church and which are normally in a Catholic church. There was also a small receptical at the entrance, which would contain holy water in a Catholic church for parishioners to bless themselves on entry. Long dried up, from its appearance,

We wondered if it had jointly served both faiths, at one time in the past. If so - well done faithful servant.

We made a stop across the road during a tour and had a few minutes to check out this church. Very interesting and beautiful old building. It gives a nice touch to this small town.

A really nice & quaint stone church at the end of the main street. Open to view to the public with a gold coin donation. The original church was built in 1899 but was destroyed by a cyclone in 2011. Re-construction started in 1912 but it wasn't completed & dedicated till 1952 , a labour of love for 40 years ! The work was delayed by 2 World Wars and the Great Depression but the finished product is well worth a stop.
