Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The biggest rip off of a rodeo i called and barely an apoligy and it was raining heavily they knew it could flood but we got told it would clear up by staff, they didn't seem to care that people were stuck (apparently the caterd for trapped people up the top, not informed made to feel like a burden ) we were flooded in the venue soaking wet cold had a flat battery couldnt do our windows up to sleep in car. We saw some shelter at some stable near the car park looking for shelter and maybe a jumper cable just to get told that its for staff and friends of staff only not even let in out of the rain for a second and told to leave, (come on giving the situation ) it was cold at midnight there was plenty of room they just don't care once you've paid and its over, no mention of the area up the top for people . Luckily we found a dry camp that some nice people let us stay wich restored my faith in humanity. I won't go back my friends won't and we all work in hospitality and resort reception and will inform all guest that ask about ame.

If you want fun and adventure then look no further the quad bikes are for you!! Great value for money 2 hrs of muddy, dirty fun!! Started off with Bec picking us up from our resort and enjoying the beautiful drive up with Bec giving us some great info on the way up about the surroundings and the station itself!! When we got there it was only my partner and I but Kirsten was more than happy to go out with the 2 of us which I thought was fantastic that they would still run it with so few people!! Kirsten was fantastic, a lovely friendly lady making sure we were always ok!! The torrain at times was challenging but you just have to trust the bike and go for it!! I couldn't stop laughing, going over steep rocks, up hills, through muddy waters the bike could do anything and it was the best 2 hrs ever!! Loved the property and scenery it was awesome going through the rainforest and tracking through tracks with the grass so high you couldn't see the top!! Thanks Kirsten and Bec for the best experience!! Bel and Steve 😀

We actually went here for a friend's passing ceremony & were very impressed (as we always are) by the quality of food here. The venue is just lovely with great views to the valley & rainforest. The place is set up in a rustic way. It's a great venue for weddings, birthday parties etc. They have Friday night meals which feature a bbq meal with lovely home cooked desserts. On Friday they also have a bull riding show which is interesting to watch. No bulls are hurt here. I would recommend this place to any one who is visiting but make sure you get good directions before you leave home.

We had a lovely time horse riding along a private beach near Rocky Point.
It was the first time I had ridden along a beach, and our lovely guide Neve was very friendly and set us at ease, and the horses were lovely and well behaved (obviously well loved).
We walked and trotted in the water and the sand, it was quite a unique experience.
It was a small group of 4 people on the afternoon ride (we set out about 2pm).

I would recommend this ride. Very special.

Half the family did the 4x4 trail riders and the other horse riding. The dad found the 4x4 a little bit tedious, the 12yr old boy loved it, 10 year old girl hated it as she was scared. I didn't mind the horse ride, and my son (7) enjoyed it but found it a little boring. As with all adventures this 2 hour experince cost us over $600.
We came back to days later for dinner and to watch the rodeo. Dinner was excellent value, BBQ meat, 3 types of salads and dessert. $20 adult, $15 for the 12 and 10yr olds and $5 for the 7 yr old. Rodeo was fascinating, bulls appeared to be mostly treated well, saw one man using the electric cow prodder a bit much, otherwise very exciting.

Having almost no horse-riding experience Tam was incredible patient and encouraging. This is "real-ish" horse-riding, in the sense that the horses do more or less obey your commands (rather than just following the leader) and the rainforest is drop-dead gorgeous. Was great fun, highly recommend.

This is a great venue. Friday nights are great with transfers from Port Dougla and Mossman. Cheap food and drinks with music make for a great night out. Why not use this venue for your next party, Xmas, birthday or just for fun.
