About Coral Sea Kayaking
We offer expedition sea kayak trips to the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park in Far North Queensland and to the Louisiades Archipelago in Papua New Guinea. Our flagship expedition is our 7-day Hinchinbrook Island paddle, one of the worlds great sea kayak journeys. Our 12 Day Paddle to Panasia expedition in the Louisiade Archipelago is a trip of a lifetime and well worth the effort. We also offer expedition sea kayak, sit-on-top kayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard hire out of Mission Beach, Queensland.

It is difficult to pick any faults with this trip or how Coral Sea Kayaking could improve their whole operation. They have the perfect 'ingredients' for one of the best 7 day paddling trips in the world. Combined with fantastic guides - who are very in tune with the groups competency levels and limits and know the area and conditions inside out - the food on the trip was sublime. I have undertaken many commercial trips in my time and never have I had food that was this good. Literally 'unbelievable' what was served up for us. The ethics and values of the guides and the CSK (particularly the environmental aspects) for camping on Australia's largest island National Park were brilliant and we also learnt a lot about the local fauna and flora. I had organized this trip for myself and 7 friends - so I had a lot riding on this trip, if it didn't work out. The trip was so good that all of us have been raving about it to friends and family, since we returned. If this 7 day paddle is not on your bucket list - you need to re-adjust your aspirations and your bucket list.

Absolutely fantastic hospitality and trip commentry. The gear and equipment looks ship shape on fay 1 but well test that further as we go. See view of the Lucinda Pier, just about to leave for an adventure of signicance.

Fantastic sea kayaking trip in a beautiful environment. Supported by great guides, the trip is varied, exciting, and (for a moderately fit person) moderately challenging. The food is fresh and plentiful, and the meals varied. I’ve come back feeling stronger, fitter and healthier. No two trips are ever the same so I’m keen to return and paddle Hinchinbrook again. Coral Sea Kayaking do it well — highly recommended.

An amazing expedition type journey that simply must be experienced! Everyday we spent paddling to our next island escape with the support of the guide crew who on arrival would poduce another gourmet selection of entrees and main courses. I had a great time with the other guests and learning from the wisdom and stories the guides had to share. A great outdoor experience for sure!
