An absolute gentleman,
We had the pleasure of going out for a mornings fishing with Alister, the day after we hired a small boat from him.
His knowledge and most importantly his enthusiasm was a pleasure, ok my wife caught more fish, and I will never live that down.
But we can’t recommend this enough, even Suzanne his lovely wife complimented the activities with her kindness and genuine smile.

We were recommended to go on a half day estuary fishing adventure with Rhet when we could get our reef fishing on the day we had free. Really good morning, saw a bug crocodile, didn’t get any fish but that didn’t matter. The scenery and experience was fantastic.

Could not recommend Alister highly enough. He was friendly, knowledgable and didn't leave a stone unturned in ensuring we hit the best spots and got the most variety out of our day. Not to mention we filled a tub with an unbelievable array of fish! Never had any fishing experience like it. Thank you Alister

The boys went fishing and had the best day ever. beautiful weather, caught heaps of fish, a 48kg GT, Spanish Mackerel, Coral Trout & Malaguy. Hooked Up know their stuff. Their still talking about it. Great day.

Such an awesome few days of fishing fun, with very knowledgeable and experienced skippers Alister and Gerard. We were taken to some beautiful spots, with an abundance and array of fish. Included accommodating trips for our group which ranged from 8 years olds to 70 year olds, with everyone getting a catch or 10! The equipment was great, and the hospitality, friendliness, and insight into the history of the area was a huge bonus. Couldn't recommend Hooked Up enough!

Joy and myself went out with Alister and it was the best fun you can have on the wet stuff imo He told us we would catch fish and we sure did.
He is the man.
He is full of some secret tactics to do with a sinker that shocked us all.
If you want to go fishing and catch fish and have a fun time on a great boat contact him. You will not regret it.
I am going to fly back up from SA just to go fishing with him again this year even though I have a great 6.85mt boat it does not rate with the experience we had with Alister.
We are coming at you soon mate

We originally booked with another charter that ended up having mechanical failure so cancelled our trip the day before. We were quite disappointed but Alister and hooked up fishing adventures came to our rescue! We were so happy with the personalised service from Alister and his family we would definitely recommend checking them out. They provided great insight into the reef and surrounding sand cays. We got to visit our own little sand cay in the middle of the ocean and I felt very safe the whole time (I'm not a strong swimmer). They took us to an amazing part of the reef which was alive with different fish and colourful coral. We even got to eat some of Alister's freshly caught fish which he prepared the day before for our on board snack. Seriously you won't regret a day out on the water with these guys. We will be back again.

I have been on many charters and would have to say this is one of the better ones. Alister spent time with me teaching me different methods such as popping & balloon fishing we caught plenty of fish and not to mention the grand daddy of them all a 30+ Kg Giant Tavelly which was one of my bucket list fish I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face for over a week now.
A big Thanks to Alister we will be back.

Did a half day estuary trip with Hooked up Fishing Adventures. Had a great time caught a couple of fish and a nice mud crab. Alistair was a fantastic host with lots of local knowledge. Will definitely book again next time I am in Mission Beach.

Well what can i say words can not describe the experience me, my parents and partner had on hooked up fishing adventures. For 3 of us it was our first time out on a charter we are all looking forward to next time 🐟. The day was fantastic with alisters local knowledge of the area we were on to fish within minutes of getting to the reef. We caught a wide variety of fish of size and colour. Alister and his deck hand dawson made it easy for everyone to catch fish even if you had no experience. Very enjoyable day.
