"Willy" is designed for observation - she has more glass than a helicopter, excels at flying low and slow, and is the quietest piston-engined aircraft on the planet! Adventure flights are made for 3 passengers only. Each one is personalised - choose where and which adventure and whether you want a 'doors on' or 'doors off' experience. Every passenger has a window seat, Bose Aviation headsets, is able to interact with the pilot and treated to expert commentary. On a trip from England, I booked a flight with Shawn for the Noosa River flight.
Absolutely amazing experience, never been on a seaplane before but would definitely recommend this experience. Shawn was a fantastic pilot, pointing out whales & other interests on the way.
I ordered the photo souvenir book for a keep sake & again this was beautifully done, with a combination of pictures of myself & friend, beautiful coastal views, pictures of the planes with descriptions on various landmarks. So glad I ordered this book, it was worth every dollar.
Thanks again Shawn for the wonderful memories.

Now this was different and it was absolutely amazing. We had a blast - took a seaplane flight with Paradise SeaPlanes today and checked out the Sunshine Coast from a different angle. Great beaches, saw whales, townships from above and the hinterland. Just WOW

I was very scared of how the plane would feel, however, Shaun really helped me overcome that fear and explained everything I needed to know about the plane to make me feel comfortable. An absolutely amazing experience, we saw whales and plenty of dolphins. Don’t let the fear take over, the experience was incredible!!

Alexx, you are a star! Great job on facing your fears and asking questions. As a flight instructor I get to teach a whole lot of people about the principles of flight and I find that this is reassuring to fledgling flyers. This is such a unique experience and such an unusual aircraft that I would expect some people to be apprehensive, but as you found out - it is so worth it and so not scary!!

Knowing that the opportunity was there to fly in the rare Polish built Wilga seaplane whilst spending a few days on the Sunshine Coast, it was something I simply had to do. The booking process (done several months in advance) was simple and easy, and from then on it was just down to the weather forecast on the day.
Luckily for my flight the weather couldn't have been better, and the pilot Shawn was very informative, friendly and professional throughout the whole process from the pre-flight brief through to exiting the aircraft at the end of the flight.
Even if you're not an aviation 'nut' like myself, this adventure is well worth doing to see the SC from above whilst in a very unusual aircraft, plus the added bonus of taking off and landing from the water

I contacted Paradise Seaplanes as a solo passenger, and they were able to match me up with another customer looking for the same flight. Preflight instructions and briefing were clear and concise. Flight was great, down the coast on the "sunshine coast adventure" to Caloundra & back. Shawn gave some commentary and answered our questions as we flew along, spectacular views, what an incredible way to see the Sunny coast. Highly recommend the experience, what a buzz to tootle along in the little Wilga thanks Paradise Seaplanes.

Took my 83 year old mum for a joyflight....what an awesome time she had! Took the doors off so she could get the full experience. Shaun was great. Made sure she got in OK and was comfortable, then took her on an amazing flight over the maroochy river and up to Point Cartright...highly recommend this fantastic experience.

See the sunshine coast from the air was such a great experience and then to top it off to come across a newly born humpback calf with her mum keeping the calf safely by her side.
Thanks to our pilot Shawn we circled the pair twice to gain a better view & enjoy the once in a lifetime view of a Humpback whale and her calf just cruising 100 meters of Pregian Beach and what a backdrop with the best beaches in the world.
Not to forget we saw a pod of Dolphins & loved the Seaplane experience
I would recommend this experience to all my friends & family.

What an amazing experience! This was my second time doing this flight and I absolutely loved it!
I naturally have a fear of flying with sweaty hands and feet but you honestly don't even feel the plane leave the water. Would 100% recommend even if you don't like flying.
Flight was so smooth and Shawn gives you so much information about the plane itself.

Thank you for sharing your fear of flying! One of the saddest things for me is when people won’t go for a fly because they are afraid. We really go out of our way to ensure that our passengers are comfortable. Often we are able to explain exactly what is going to happen and how it all works, and in doing that, alleviate the fear.

The whole experience was the favourite part of the trip! Stunning scenery, whales, tuna, dolphins all viewed from a classic aeroplane, with the whole experience enhanced by having doors off - only way to go!
