Skybury's Australian Coffee Centre has been transformed into the ultimate farmgate experience. Labelled "Skybury Farmgate", the transformation is part of our long-term vision to further expand Skybury's coffee footprint, not only in Australia but internationally.

Skybury is Australia's largest exporter of home-grown coffee, which is an achievement we are incredibly proud of. Our coffee is enjoyed all around the world, from the street cafes of Paris, Berlin, London, Singapore,Tokyo and Madrid, to trendy coffee shops in Cairns and Port Douglas.

Skybury's restaurant and tours, will cease to operate from May 1, 2014. Skybury Farmgate will be situated within the foyer of the Australian Coffee Centre, while renovation and building works for a dedicated facility on the farm are underway.

Skybury Farmgate will be open to the public from 9am to 4pm weekdays (excluding public holidays) and will sell fresh produce direct from the farm as well as the full Skybury Coffee range. Takeaway coffee will also be available.

Keep a look out for Skybury's upgraded website featuring a great e-commerce platform for coffee sales and product information. It will be business as usual for all online, mail order and wholesale coffee sales.

Coffee was good

Thought that there would be more to it to be honest. Great coffee and the view was pretty but I wanted to learn about coffee - too late for any tour that wasn't well advertised... read more

This is the best coffee place on the tablelands. A bit of history, fantastic coffee, fantastic fruit salad. Even the toilet is artistic and pretty. Will go again and again. Compared to last time, the big change is not serving lunch..now more like a cafe

We were on the road to Yungaburra, when we saw the signpost for Skybury- 10k - off the mainroad. We didn´t know the they grown coffe in Australia and were surprised to find this nice shop/restaurant out here in the countryside. We came half an hour before closingtime, but there was no rush, the staff took their time and the... More

Only information on the coffee process you will get here is a sign saying "but a DVD". If we wanted to watch a DVD on how to grow and roast coffee, we would watch YouTube. Save your time.

The cafe and views are great. Ordered tea with scones and a fruit smoothie. Scones were good for feeding ducks and the smoothie was a fruit sludge. Undrinkable.

Decided to visit Skybury for lunch!! Big mistake . Where to start. The restaurant?? Is run down & dirty. A good sweep of the floors would be a start. The kitchen isn't functioning so the lunch menu is so limited I really don't know why they bother. If you have the pies they are heated in the microwave, so the... More

Great place, the decking that overlooks the plantation is a great place for lunch or just coffee and cake. You could sit there for hours just looking at the view. The choice of food is quite good and well priced. Coffee is ground to your requirements on sit, just ask. There coffee is very nice to take home.

We were very disappointed with Skybury! The building is very impressive however that is where the experience ends! We expected to be able to sit and have coffee overlooking coffee plantations as far as the eye could see but the view while ok is just over bushland and a pond. No information about coffee and the staff were not particularly... More

We ended up at this place by accident looking for another coffee place for which we had misplaced the brochure. It was nothing more than a cafe off the beaten track with below average food. It seems no food at all is prepared in the premises - all reheated from a city bakery. As a result, the food was very... More

Dear Permanentabode Thank you taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. We regret that you did not enjoy your visit to the Skybury Cafe and Roastery. However, I would like to take the opportunity to correct your comments regarding food preparation, so others are not misled when they read your review. None of our food is "reheated from... More

Thought that there would be more to it to be honest. Great coffee and the view was pretty but I wanted to learn about coffee - too late for any tour that wasn't well advertised and there wasn't anything that you could go and read or learn about while there.
