We visited in the late afternoon about an hour before dark and the whole forest area was alive with the most amazing birdsong. Simply stunning. The staff in the visitor centre clearly loved being there and sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm.

No, I'm sorry you can't take your dog. There is an amazing variety of wildlife- birds of many varieties, reptiles and Pademelons (a type of marsupial).
