Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve is an easy drive from Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. Cafe offering good coffee and meals, information centre and easy walking tracks through rainforest make for a lovely afternoon .. very enjoyable.

Spectacular lighting later in the afternoon for golden streams of light that rain through the canopy and love how the path is kept rustic and doesn’t take away from the beauty of the peaceful surrounds.

Plenty nature to be heard... be sure to stop, lookup and listen to the sounds. Enjoy all the centre has to offer. Bring a gold coin donation. Good bbq, park and playground to byo picnic

No, I'm sorry you can't take your dog. There is an amazing variety of wildlife- birds of many varieties, reptiles and Pademelons (a type of marsupial).
