This place is a great natural wonder. The walks are short and easy suitable for any age. Great photo ops available. Perfect 1hr stop on a Tablelands day trip. Close to Malanda, Herberton, Ravenshoe, Millaa Millaa, and Atherton.

Nice easy walk to see Dinner Falls & on to the diatreme. It is really impressive & worth a look for yourself. The area was really quiet & peaceful while I was there.

Large National Park just a short drive from Atherton where we had an overnight stay. Great short and easy circuit walk to the Dinner falls and crater which is a huge hole in the ground. Bit scary peering over the edge of crater. We went...More

Great short and easy circuit walk to the Dinner falls and crater which is a huge hole in the ground. Not many people around and the walk is pleasantly cool even in summer. Photos will not do this place justice.

This national park is set in the untouched rainforest of the wet tropics. It has a walking circuit of around 1.5-2km and is relatively easy to the diatreme. The walk to the falls is a little more challenging being downhill but still good for beginners....More

Paying a visit to Mt Hypipamee National Park Waterfalls is a must do while around. The rainforest is amazing, we saw a lot of birds and a great waterfall with great black rocks and crystal clear waters. Wear shoes and not slippers, as the tracks...More

What a lovely surprise Mt. Hypipamee and Dinner Falls were for our family! It was very quiet, and we had the walking circuit to ourselves. The magnitude of the crater cannot be capture well on film, and we highly recommend going in person! Our children...More

Very easy to locate and visit this wonderful spot, with interesting signs helpfully explaining what you're seeing and a great set of falls just a short walk along the track - well worth a look!

When we arrived, the first thing we noticed were signs saying that cassowary's had recently been sighted in the area. We have only ever seen them in captivity but sadly on our visit we did not sight any. The walk to The Crater was pleasant...More
