What an entertaining museum. Really enjoyed all the history and memorabilia on both aviation and QANTAS in Australia. Bought some nice gifts for the family and had a very good lunch in the restaurant while we were there.

Had been looking forward to visiting this museum, and we weren't disappointed. The museum is very well set out and easy to follow the historical display path. A lot of work has gone into the museum and is a credit to all involved.

Excellent place for families as well as those who have specific interest in the history and technical things of planes. Some courageous stories to hear too.

Great for people interested in aviation, however I found it to have some really interesting areas especially the first toilet on a Qantas and photos of different planes/uniforms also the motors. The old workshop was very interesting with other memorabilia on display.

Despite the claimed lack of funding by Qantas, for a long time now, the Qantas museum is an outstanding attraction in a town fortunate to have developed other very worthwhile attractions, including (but not limited to) the Stockman's Hall of Fame and a choice of...More

Yes it is. As mentioned above, Longreach is a small town and easy to navigate. Our Boeing 747 is also pretty easy to see especially if you are coming from the East. Otherwise you can follow the signs to the airport... More

Hi Jill S, most customers spend at least 4 hours in the museum especially if they do any of our tours. If you are planning to do any of the museum tours we would recommend you book ahead by calling 07 4658 3737.
