Came across this place after a recommendation from a local serving us with coffee.

Don;t think you will spend just a few minutes in this gallery - allow yourself at least 30-45 minutes here. Visited the Peter Jarver Gallery near the Esplanade in Cairns only by chance because we were initially drawn to the beautiful photographs adorning the walls of the gallery. Ben, the Art Consultant introduced himself to us after he realised just how mesmerised we were with photography from all over Australia - many locations familiar to us through our travels. We were given a thorough explanation of how the photographs were captured, the camera, film and time lapse used (most of which is also detailed alongside the framework). What you see here is true collectors pieces and are limited editions, maybe a little above our price range. But if we win the lotto a Peter Jarver piece will be a centre piece on our wall.

Lots of nice work from Cairns and more broadly around Australia. Generally way too expensive to think about buying anything!

Stunning gallery. Gloss fotos were so beautiful. Gorgeous wooden tables. Stunning photography of some places I have been and others would like to see. Well worth a visit.

It never ceases to amaze me how much time and patience must go into getting great photos. Then to present them in such a gallery like here is truly mind blowing, there are plenty of unique pieces and well worth the price.

Incredible gallery and so unexpected!
The artwork is incredible and had me wanting to take them all home.
Enjoyed Kuranda greatly but this was by far the nicest surprise of our trip there.

This gallery is well worth doing. The shots are beautiful and so well presented. The staff are very knowledgable. If you're walking through Kuranda, you'll pass this shop. Be sure to stop and have a look.

We visited the Peter Jarver gallery by chance and were not disappointed . The landscape photography on show was stunning, enough for us to purchase one. The best landscape photography we have had the pleasure of viewing, thank you Peter Jarver ! The depth and detail of the photos are stunning .
We cannot wait to have one of Peters works on our living room wall for years of pleasurable viewing .

All of the gloss fotos were so beautiful. Gorgeous wooden tables. Stunning photography of some places I have been with a beatiful memory For me. Well worth a visit. So beautiful, all of them. IT is stadje died at the age of 49. But: he lives his Own passion.
