A fantastic way to spend an hour in Kuranda! Would definitely recommend this trip to see the breathtaking rainforest with an extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic guide - thanks Warren! We learnt so much and even got to feed fish and turtles. To top it all off we saw two freshwater crocs! Brilliant.

I could not recommend the Kuranda Riverboat more highly. It was the highlight of our day trip to Kuranda, and we enjoyed this activity more so than the other thrill-seeking activities which we'd undertaken on our trip. We saw numerous turtles and found the cruise both relaxing and interesting, with David offering fascinating commentary about the local history of the... More

the cruise on the river is very boring - an hour of travel on the river, to see several fishes and turtles and a shadow of a crocodile. definitely not recommended

Adryan, you obviously picked the wrong activity for you to do in Kuranda. How anyone can find a relaxing 45 minute cruise on the Barron River surrounded by areas of Wet Tropics rainforest boring is hard for me to understand but clearly you did. More

David did great job for the four of us. A couple and two singles all enjoyed. Value to see turtles and fish feeding from boat. Would recommend David also recommend an excellent coffee at Kuranda rainforest coffee

This cruise was great. Cheap and affordable at $18pp and $9pc. Very well informed trip we got to feed turtles and fish. We got told in depth about everything we seen including the rain Forrest itself. Although we thought we would get to see the Barron Falls we didn't as it is on top of the falls above the Dam... You are the only boat on the Barron River for the 45 minute cruise. The guide was excellent and we saw fish, turtles and a large crocodile sun-baking on a fallen tree. He also explained about the rainforest and the different trees. Definitely recommended as a peaceful cruise after the Kuranda markets.
