We called in for local maps and information and were given all we needed. maps and other leaflets are didplsyed in geographical areas and it was easy to get what we needed

Very friendly staff, and very helpful. Visitors Centre is nicely laid out, and staff were able to recommend sights in town as well as on outr travel direction.

Sure is... take the Gregory Hwy then turn off onto the Peak Downs Hwy... it's a sealed highway all the way through. Also a lot quicker than going via Rockhampton.
