We were the only two on the sunset cruise with 'Sauce' last, Saturday (which was Easter Saturday!) Alex, our guide, was so friendly, witty & full of knowledge about the Daintree waterways and their wonderfully special inhabitants. Although the birds were a little elusive that afternoon, we still managed to spot quite a variety, thanks to Alex's knowledge. patience & diligence! Alex was not going to allow us to leave this "Wonderland of Nature" without enjoying some of the many special experiences that it had to offer! Could not recommend this tour highly enough .... so do NOT miss this amazing experience when visiting the Daintree area.

We had such a wonderful evening on the cruise. Our tour guide Sauce was a wealth of knowledge and such a lovely person. The breeze was refreshing and it was such a nice way to see the Daintree from the river. We also spotted 2 crocodiles and plenty of flora and fauna

In late December we had the great pleasure of attending both a sunset cruise followed by a sunrise cruise the next morning. Sauce and Alex were knowledgeable, passionate and generous. With their excellent guidance we were fortunate enough to see all the bird species we hoped to. I could not recommend these tours more highly. I hope to go again myself some day.

We went out twice with 'Sauce' (derived from his family name Worcester). What a great guy, friendly, witty and full of knowledge about the Daintree and its inhabitants. We would definitely recommend doing one of their cruises. Its currently $60 for adults (about half for children) but it lasts two hours and although bird numbers are down recently, we saw so many birds, some of which are pretty rare (so much so, people come from around the world to see them), and for us, they were lifers. Oh, and let's not forget the crocs! Overall, 5 stars plus and great value. Thanks Sauce!

What a beautiful way to spend a morning! The river was quiet and still, the mountains covered in mist, and the sun just coming through. It felt almost prehistoric out there. Sauce is a fantastic tour guide with years and years of experience and was able to guide us directly to some birds nests and the best spots to see wildlife. Unfortunately the morning we went, the wildlife made it hard for him to find everything, but he still did a wonderful job of finding what birds he could, and sharing stories and knowledge. Sauce provided us with binoculars which were invaluable (thank you!). Highlights included a big croc cruising down Barrett’s creek alongside the boat and a juvenile sea eagle attempting some fishing. We’re not traditionally bird watchers, and we still very much appreciated and enjoyed the tour and time on the river.
