Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not too much to say - stopped to buy some of their tea, and they also have honey. Take what you want, leave the money in the box. Certainly cheaper than getting the same stuff at other locations on the same road. Really good tea, by the way.

Stop here as you drive through the Daintree to grab some fresh, Aussie tea. There's a small setup at the entrance to the plantation where you choose your tea out of a treasure chest box and leave the money in an honesty box. There's some historical photos and machinery but you don't need more than 5 minutes to visit. A perfect tea break!

Great tasting tea which we purchased at Coles. We were headed to the plantation until we found there was nothing really there or to do. Missing a great promotional chance here. But we will be buying more tea through mail order.

We drove past here on 6 separate occasions pulling in the first time, to be met with... A whole lot of NOTHING...
Every time we drove past, super early in the morning, lunch time, and in the evening, slowing down to see... Even more nothing...?
I do not get it at all...

Stopped here for a few minutes to take photos. Really beautiful scenery. Brought the tea from a local attraction. Tastes incredible.

I have now been drinking Daintree Tea for 8 years after an initial purchase at that time. I now buy bulk teabags and enjoy every drop. On my recent trip to the area I drove up to the sheds to collect my order. I have done this several times and always felt welcome.

So much easier and cheaper to buy your tea here at the plantation. The best tea in the north! An honesty system of payment by cash is required, but can't complain - prices are much cheaper than at the tourist outlets in town.

Go to the small house on the road to buy your tea, it will be cheaper than anywhere else and you just take your tea and pay to the honesty box.

This was a very brief (10 mins) stop (out of curiosity); not really much here; no one around--it's DIY. There is a display of photos of the tea farm and the harvesting process. A few farm equipment parked at site. You can walk up to the tea bushes and smell (there's no smell) and touch the green leaves. There is no tea tasting here. You can buy Daintree Tea products (on the honor system) by leaving money in the container.
Pull over on the roadside (Cape Tribulation Rd) small parking lot if you wish to stretch your legs and are curious to see what tea bushes look like. Located near the Floravilla Ice Cream shop.
Note: they sell Daintree Tea products @ Coles/IGA in Mossman and Port Douglas for pretty much the same price (not cheaper @ the farm; potentially on sale @ the grocery store).

Nothing here, it’s a tin shed by the side of the road you can buy tea at on an honour system. No reason to stop, just buy the tea at a shop.

Do you have small bags for sale too? Would love to purchase just to try 1-2 cups!
