This walk is the bucket list for Australian hikers and justifiably so. Its a great 4+ day walk across the east coast of Hinchinbrook Island National Park. We went at the end of the dry season, so the potentially nasty river crossings and endless bogs...More

Fantastic hike. Beautiful scenery and places to swim along the way. Terrain was undulating with few steep climbs and varied from beach, rock hopping, roots, mangroves and creek crossings. Hitchenbrook island is beautiful and the hike is well worth it. Excellent walk full of fresh water holes, waterfalls, stunning beaches and lots of varied native trees and shrubs. Recommend Hitchenbrook island cruises for boat transfers.

My wife and I did the Thorsborn trail to celebrate our 50ths. A slice of nature beauty at its best, fantastic hike and opportunity to get of the grid! Due to heavy rain the week before it was more challenging than expected but the track...More

I'm sure Hinchinbrook Island Cruises or Absolute North Charters could work something out for you but be warned it isn't cheap. Our return (drop of and pick up) was $190 each. They may want more to do it in the same day as... More
