Had a great time listening and tasting all the incredible fruit that is grown on their property. Interesting history of the location and detailed understanding given of the different fruits, a couple that I had not every tried before.

Highly recommend.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, local family, running rural tourism at its best!
By doing the farm tour & exotic fruit tasting you learn so much about tropical fruits grown on the farm, you learn about regenerative agriculture & history of the area (farm has been in the family going on 3 generations). You get to taste at least 10 different types of delicious tropical fruits, many will be unknown to you.
If you choose to stay the cabins are scattered throughout the orchards, they are very private (not too close to each other), very clean with a lovely outlook over the orchard & up into the rainforest. It is beautiful & peaceful, lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds in the forest & have tea/coffee delivered to your deck! The breakfasts are amazing held on the deck of the original farm house . There is a very generous selection of tropical fruits, fresh ground coffee, cereals, breads and home made jams. Added bonus for me was meeting some other very interesting well travelled Guests.
This is an experience not to be missed if travelling to far north queensland!

We planned our four-day trip to the Daintree/Cape Tribulation area such that we visited this place first, before properly checking into our accommodation!

This farm has been a family business for two generations now. The selection of exotic fruit is amazing and tasting each of the 11 we had (10-11 depending on availability) was thoroughly enjoyable and educational.

Take photos or even video the experience so you can keep track of the various fruit. They come from Central & South America, Asia & Pacific.

After visiting the farm - then you can appreciate the local ice cream places and also then Rusty’s Market back in Cairns (Sunday’s)

A very special experience is Cape Trib Farm to stay at. Set amongst the farm’s glorious exotic fruit trees, the beautifully appointed and tranquil cabins are very special. Off the grid but you would not know it as solar and gas ensure top notch powered services are all provided. Breakfast is included and what a breakfast - a platter of the farm’s exotic fruits is provided for each guest along with home made exotic fruit jams and full array of cereals, coffee etc to enjoy in the leafy dining area. And an extra treat is waking up in our cabin to find a basket with a thermos of hot water and tea, coffee and milk waiting on the cabin balcony. The hosts/owners Merran and Jeremy are absolutely delightful and provide top information on everything to do in the stunning Daintree. Merran grew up on this farm and her parents Dawn and Colin Gray were pioneers in the area. From first planting the exotic fruit trees over 40 years ago and coping with the isolation and hardships of such a remote area, to the campaigns and blockades over decades past to protect the incredible and pristine Daintree, it’s a fascinating story. Highly recommended!
