Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did the exotic fruit tasting. The host was friendly and happy to share her knowledge of tropical fruit farming.
The tasting was a bit long for our youngest child (5yr), but the atmosphere was friendly.

This place was exactly what we hoped for. Peaceful, beautiful location in the orchards. Surrounded by thick rainforest. 2 mins to great cafes. Merryn and Sam are such accomodating hosts. The fresh fruit everyday was amazing. All these things we had never tried. The cabins are so comfortable. Best bed ever and so many quality touches. Like luxe glamping. Highly recommend. Ask for tips on walks and swimming holes. Stunning.

We happened on the exotic fruit tasting as we were exploring the Daintree.
Jeremy and his son Sam provided great and detailed explanations of all the fruits, and a small tour of the farm.
All the fruits were amazing, and it was the size of a meal so don't fill up beforehand.
Highly worth a visit to try some different and amazing fruits.

We did the exotic fruit tasting and learnt a lot about fruits we have never heard of and regenerative farming. Thanks to very passionate farmers Merran and Jeremy. Amazing was the Miracle Berry which makes everything taste sweet. Definitely a must do when you visit Cape Tribulation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exotic fruit tasting experience. A very special place. Comfortable rustic cabins, set in 40 acres of Exotic Fruit Trees, along with chickens, ducks and other ground fowl.

Fantastic experience. Sam did our tasting and is 3rd generation fruit farmer. He interwove fruit info with details about his very cool grandparents and the establishment of the farm. He included fruit tasting and preparation info with history of that fruits development around the world, marketability along with growing info.
Down to earth, relaxed, small group experience.
As a person with a farming background, it was great to see the realities of farming represented in such a engaging way.
Would absolutely come back again. Don't miss this experience!

Had a great time listening and tasting all the incredible fruit that is grown on their property. Interesting history of the location and detailed understanding given of the different fruits, a couple that I had not every tried before.

Highly recommend.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, local family, running rural tourism at its best!
By doing the farm tour & exotic fruit tasting you learn so much about tropical fruits grown on the farm, you learn about regenerative agriculture & history of the area (farm has been in the family going on 3 generations). You get to taste at least 10 different types of delicious tropical fruits, many will be unknown to you.
If you choose to stay the cabins are scattered throughout the orchards, they are very private (not too close to each other), very clean with a lovely outlook over the orchard & up into the rainforest. It is beautiful & peaceful, lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds in the forest & have tea/coffee delivered to your deck! The breakfasts are amazing held on the deck of the original farm house . There is a very generous selection of tropical fruits, fresh ground coffee, cereals, breads and home made jams. Added bonus for me was meeting some other very interesting well travelled Guests.
This is an experience not to be missed if travelling to far north queensland!

Merran and Jeremy were fantastic. So welcoming and such a wealth of knowledge. Beautiful exotic fruit tasting, while our host Merran spoke about each fruit in depth. Very educational and a throughly enjoyable afternoon on their beautiful property
