Description:

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree...

Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours take you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided zipline experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream, available every day from Cape Tribulation.

The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103.

The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef (don’t forget your camera!!)

There are up to twelve two-hour tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.

Loved this activity and its suitable for all ages. Staff were very informative about their environment and great fun. Light rain did not bother anyone as afterall it is in the rain forest. Safety was a premium for them so it made everyone very confident. Highly recommend this to all.

We saw an advert for this in a tourist magazine in our hotel and I thought it sounded quite good so we booked on-line. We drove up to Cape Trib and checked in to the 'office' to let them know we were there and also to fill in the "If I die it's not your fault." forms (ha, ha, that's... More

Well what a surprise. We are in our seventies and fit, and thought that the way the promotion read we could do it. Right from the start the staff were fantastic. Brett in the office got us going, and Guy, Noel and Little John got us all geared up for the experience of a life time. They were the most... More

Enjoyed this tour very much. I am shocking with heights and have done something similar before, but I really enjoy it. The staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable with everything. My Partner is not afraid of heights and absolutely loved it. Great scenery to be seen. They allow you take your own cameras for photos too which... More

Jungle surfing is a really unique way to experience the Daintree and we loved the 2 hours we spent touring the canopy. Your day starts when you check in and receive your complimentary buff for your head (my daughter loved this). The crew then takes you up to their location and you realize right away how great the staff is.... More

Dawn thanks for the lovely comments about our tour, we’re so glad your family had such a good time and learned some interesting facts about the rainforest in the process. You’re right, we’re by no means the fastest zipline in the world, but what we lack in speed, we sure do make up for with fun, great guides, and beautiful... More

Had a great time on the zip lines - especially going upside down. Staff were amazing and very helpful. A great trip. Would say that the walk up to the star is steep and uneven for older people. I'm a reasonably fit 62 year old and found it a bit hard as did another younger lady on our trip. It... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us, we’re glad you had an excellent time. Well done on going upside down, it feels great, doesn’t it! The 250m walk up to the Human Hamster Wheel does get the blood pumping, but it is well worth it for the tour – I’m sure you’ll agree! We recently introduced... More

Fantastic couple of hours flying through the trees. Even when it poured rain at one stage it only enhanced the experience. Our guides were very knowledgable and super safety conscious. This would be one of the highlights of our visit. Not to be missed

Peter S we’re pleased that our tour was the highlight of your trip, thank you so much for your kind words, our guides are truly wonderful even though we’re a bit biased. What a bonus that you got to experience a rainforest downpour :-) - it’s pretty spectacular experience! Visit us again soon; you’re always welcome. More

Jungle surfing through 6 zip lines. Very entertaining crew who look after you safely and give you background on the rainforest canopy. Really is suitable for all ages as a 3-year-old could manage the zip lines on their own. A special mention to “George” our driver for his unparalleled knowledge of local and aboriginal history. Continuous commentary from Cairns to... More

Thanks Phil, I will pass your feedback on to George who works for Jungle Tours, what a top fella and like you said very knowledgeable about the local area and indigenous history. Hehe, I see the Jungle Monkeys aka our excellent Tour Guides have kept you entertained on tour; they’re not short of a tale or two about the rainforest... More

Went with my husband, sister and parents. Great staff, we had 3 young guys and a girl who was training, all great and energetic, especially the guy with the dreds (forgot all your names sorry). Great views and something different to do.

Cheer for the great review guys. Ziplining the Daintree Rainforest sure is something unique and different to do, a huge eye-opener for some of our guests especially if you’re from a city. A must-do activity for anyone visiting Tropical North Queensland. More
