Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice old shaded park - good for a hot day. The playground is really only for kids up to 7 years. Good that there are toilets. Nice grounds with 120 year old fig trees although they could do with a little clearing up of twigs and fallen leaves. There could also be more tables and benches as they were all occupied when we tried to picnic there.
The food shops over the road offer some nice choices.

Beautiful park with a great play area. You can grab some lunch across the road and sit under the majestic figs.

Wirreanda Park has massive Ficus trees enveloping the whole Park creating a wonderful shaded and cool area. There's a children's Park and eateries nearby.

This is a grand old darling of a park in Buderim and besides rows of ancient fig trees it boasts toilets, tables and a playground. It is perfect for weddings and parties and is quite quiet on the weekends.
In the mornings many families visit the playground for a bit of fun bit towards sunset its vacated....seems the mozzies choose this time to find food!!!
A lovely spot!

We often take our young grandchildren to this park as it is a relatively small area, always well shaded with the huge fig trees and has a playground to keep them occupied for some time. It is a pleasant place to enjoy a short break or have a picnic lunch, or to use the BBQ facilities. There is a toilet block and some tables available to use.

We were in the area for a drive with the family & decided to head to Beefy's Pies for lunch. We had a planned on eating at the shop, but there were no tables, only take-away. So we noticed people sitting at a table & chairs across the road, so headed over. What a wonderful, magical discovery! It was sooo beautiful!! It was so cool and shaded. The table & chairs were clean & so were the amenities. The kids loved the playground & having a go at climbing the trees. Just the perfect spot to have lunch & enjoy it in beautiful surroundings. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Wirreanda Park is well known by locals for the its iconic weeping figs whose leaves & branches create an entire canopy over the park. The park was (and still is I would think) a magnet for white weddings due to the amazing photo opportunities. The trees were planted well over 100 years ago & were the entrance to a homestead owned by Buderim pioneer family the Lindsay’s (who also have a main road in Buderim named after them. Across the road are various cafes and shops including a local Beefys pie shop (another Sunshine Coast icon).

we are very lucky to have this beautiful park close to our home. For children, there is a great playground, with a climbing wall and other equipment on which they thoroughly enjoy playing. Nearby is also an area of beautiful old fig trees which meet overhead. It would be a wonderful place for a wedding! Across the road there is a selection of excellent little food shops where you could buy a coffee, lunch or dinner. Enjoy!!
