Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very Nice, Quiet Beach to relax & forget the problems of the world behind you.
A nice beach for a seclude Skinny Dip or Nude Sunbake,, Long sandy beach for long walks and take your Dogs too.. Beware thou that there is not much shade so you will need the sun block & if you take the Kids watch them in the water, it can be a little rough.
The access road is also a dirt track & can be boggy after the rain.. also lock your car & take valuables with you.
But all in all a nice beach to get away from things,, Enjoy!

Perfect place to take your fur baby for a walk. Leash and off leash section. Beautiful background of trees. Let’s keep it clean so everyone can continue to enjoy it.

Great dog beach....5km of it. Everyone we've come across in about 5 visits has been very friendly and respectful of us and out dog. EVER is lovely....great spot for dogs to run free, swim, and play. Easily accessible. Free!

Don't waste your time going to red beach unless you are a dog lover who doesn't mind stepping in their droppings. The beach is a hangout for perverts who openly display their naked bodies. Do not go there

I travelled to Bribie Island for the first time in many years and decided to visit Red Beach, know locally as the 'Dog Beach', without a dog.. Red Beach is some 5-8km in length of pristine white sand; though possibly the council could remove the old seaweed.
The beach is (supposedly) divided into two halves with one half for families (without dogs) and one for families with dogs. The signs indicate that those families bringing their dogs to the beach should keep them on the leash.
None of the rules relating to the beach (which are prominantly signposted) appeared to be adhered too, with dogs on every part of the beach and most of them running free.
Rather than detracting from the beauty of the beach it seemed (to me) to enhance the very free nature of the place with scenes of happy dogs frollicking in the water often with the children from their family. And despite the free nature of the dogs I found no dog 'waste', possibly because the Council provides free plastic collection bags.
Overall an enjoyable relaxing walk and a place I will visit again.

We often head up to Red beach to run our two Samoyed's on the beach without fear of them drowning in the calm waters, most dogs here are family friendly.Beautiful sandy beach.

Lovely secluded spot - down from the RSL. Take protection though - not a lot of shade. Maybe take some food and drink too. People set up tents etc. Good parking available. Nice beach and water.

Plenty of parking close to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful to walk for you and your dog. On-lead and off-lead areas. The water was crystal clear the day we went and locals told us it is not uncommon to sport dolphins in the area. The view across the bay is awesome.
