Such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this. You need to be fairly fit and as you climb higher there are many parts where you'll be climbing rugged terrain. Even if you can't get past this part the views are incredible the whole way up. So thankful to whoever has left ribbons on trees helping me to stick to the path.... More

We visited the rock pools section of the park - do a google search to find the national park website which gives detailed directions on how to get to this section of Mt Walsh. We traveled on a short section of dirt road which was no problem for our 4cyl sedan but I wouldn't attempt it after/during rain. The rock... More

Climbing Mt Wash was defiantly challenging. It is 1500m to the highest hiking part - the rest of the trip is grappling up boulders. Be sure to get there early in the morning as is was fairly hot. There were BBQ and toilet facilities at the bottom.
