Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here back in May this year (a little slow with the review, I know). This was probably the cheapest thin we did on our 3 week north QLD trip and by far the best. The host was great, very informative. We hired a double kayak and do the half day trip. This was plenty long enough in our opinion. It’s approximately 9klm of down stream kayaking, so all you really need to do is steer. The water was crystal clear and we stopped along the way a couple of times for a swim. If you are heading up to Caurns, or anywhere in the vicinity, you need to add this to your list of must do things. You won’t be sorry!

Well worth it! Paul was friendly from booking to pick up. Equipment was all provided and in good order. The 9km paddle was easy and the setting beautiful. Highly recommended

We had a great day. The water was crystal clear and with the flow we didn't have to do much paddling. Would highly recommend and would do again. Best activity we have done in the Cairns area so far.

Great half day trip. The water was crystal clear and we had plenty of time to stop for a swim. The current means you don’t have to do any hard paddling, so very relaxing. Would definitely do it again.

The boys (13 and 16) loved the experience of paddling down, jumping from rope swings and swimming in water holes. Paul runs an excellent half day making it an easy way to ease into the north…..

First time kayaking, loved it!! Paul put me at ease and told us what to expect and what to do when we came to it. Couple of little ‘rapids’ The water was crystal clear. Did not swim, would have loved to but was keen to just enjoy the paddle. Paul picked us up at the end with an ice cream. Had waterproof boxes for phones. We packed a little lunch and pulled in on a sandbank. There was excavation work going on the side near the end and this freaked me out a bit as the water was all murky (crocodiles) Would definitely do it again.

We had a really wonderful kayak trip down Babinda creek, seeing turtles, Ulysses butterfly’s and beautiful scenery - Paul set us up with everything we needed for a great morning out, very well organised. Would love to do this again.

A fabulous trip gliding along the Babinda creek by kayak, with beautiful surroundings, and sandy beaches ideal for picnic stops. Great value and very well organised. Highly recommended.

We had a great half-day kayaking. There were four of us in single kayaks and our dog. It was a lovely relaxing time. Four hours was plenty of time to kayak/drift the 9km. The kayaks were sturdy and easy to operate. A fun family time together.

Such an easy experience - explanation of the day's itinerary was crystal clear. You get shown how to use the kayaks with a brief tutorial and then you get sent on your way for a day of awesome fun! Such an leisurely experience - take your time, enjoy the sights and have lunch halfway through if you want. You get picked up at the end and brought all the way back to where you started - super easy and awesome fun!
