We were fortunate to have a week at Lake Tinaroo and caught a Barra, just a very picturesque place. It has great walking paths and wide open places for family play

Did some fishing, enjoyed the drive. A relaxing day. Take water and food. A few natural things to look at. We drove completely around the dam, a few creeks on route worth stopping at.

We went to the Lake Tinaroo. I was amazed that it had still water. More water than usual. I found other places where lakes had hardly any water in it. Lake Tinaroo had still its splendor. There were many people in the park. Kids were...More

Beautiful part of the world. I recommend a visit to the Afghanistan Memorial Walk just outside Yungaburra. Serene and sincere. Lest we forget.

We didn’t stop, we went for a drive around looking at the dam wall and some of the lake. It’s a big dam and there was a fair bit of water, would like to spend a few days camping when we have time.

What an amazing place. After the heat of the coastline it was so refreshing to be up here. It really is a wonderful spot.

With stunning views, plenty of children's playgrounds, all in good condition, lake side with great relaxing atmosphere. Take your picnic, this is one place you must go to!! Good road network to reach it as well. You will not be disappointed.

We hired a boat with sleeping facilities and just pottered along, mooring when we choose. Great wild life and star gazing.
