Little busy for a couple date, however at the time it was school holidays and a Saturday. The staff were friendly and the crack a Geode was not disappointing. Overall I would recommend to go and explore the self guided tour and the geode cracking...More

Thank you for your review. I hope despite the business of school holidays, you were able to find a nice quiet corner in the caves for your date... My personal favorite is the agate dome.

We visited the 'caves' as an extended family and all ages were enthralled by the range of minerals, there display and presentation. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. It was a shame we could only afford an hour and a half here as we still...More

Thank you for your lovely review. We certainly aim to mesmerise all walks of life! Sometimes people think this museum is just for kids, but with more than 600 specimens in the museum, there really is something for everyone

At first I was confused as I imagined the caves to not be man made, and so when I saw the store front it was confusing. However, going into the caves was amazing, it’s very well put together and enjoyable for anyone slightly interested in...More

Thank you for your kind review! With a name like Crystal Caves, it is easy to imagine that this is a natural cave so I am pleased that you were not disappointed!

In this day and age, wheelchairs are becoming more common. Entering the caves was ok, the displays were fantastic, and all was going well until we tried to exit the caves. Disaster. The young girl had to let us out the back end, and I...More

Hi and thank you for your kind review considering the trouble you had upon exiting the museum. While we have made every attempt to make the museum fully wheelchair accessible, there physically is just not enough space to build a ramp at the exit, I...More

We visited with 3 & 7 year olds and both found many amazing displays inside the man-made cave. We spent well over an hour and had we not a schedule to keep to, perhaps would have stayed longer. The kids loved being able to touch...More

Thank you for your lovely review. It certainly is easy to lose time when exploring the museum. The fact that you can touch many of the displays makes travelling with little ones easier.

Thank you for your lovely review! I will pass your compliments onto Jonah, the enthusiastic young man who identified your husbands geode. It's pretty easy to be enthusiastic when we work in such a beautiful environment and meet such lovely people!
