Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The sun was out when we arrived. The ground was a bit damp from previous rain. There were other visitors but it wasn't too crowded. We wandered around and walked one of the short tracks and detoured back to the carpark. While you're there try using the pumps. They each feel a little different. The water was cool and refreshing when feeling it on the skin. The water is metallic to taste. I bottled a little and looking at it the next day when the murky settlements sank to the bottom, I can't imagine anyone wanting to drink the water any more. Proceed with caution :)

Called into the information centre in town to grad a map /flyer. Highly recommend. It gives specific instructions to reassure you that you are on the right path. Glorious afternoon spent in nature

Walked 12ks thru the reserve with the dog, saw 3 mineral springs and a couple kangaroo sightings as well! Really beautiful area. The covered picnic area also has bins, tables and bbqs. Toilets were adequate.

We hiked to a number of the mineral springs and tried the mineral waters at those springs (bring a bottle :)
The trails were well maintained and easy to hike.

We visited daylesford this weekend gone 17-19th feb, and booked a spa day, the spa entry was lovely, staff friendly and polite with the lovely spa smell we all love! Changing rooms are mixed. Locker key provided too, the spa area was a little tired, and needed a good clean and refresh! The windows to outside were quite dirty , some tiles missing in areas, and many of the safety handrails were quite wobbly, and the seats in the one of the spas had a sharp bolt underneath which I caught my
Leg on! Over all it was relaxing! But I would definitely like to see some refreshing of rhe facilities

My wife and I were in Daylesford for a holiday recently, to attend the "Borealis on The Lake" event.

We decided to visit this place again, for the second time, as we enjoyed our previous visit. This time around, we walked to Argyle Spring, which is around 3 km return trip from the car park near Hepburn Baths. There was no one else around during our entire walk as it was a Wednesday afternoon in Winter off peak season.

The Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve is a 30-hectare reserve. This region is home to over 80% of Victoria's Mineral Springs, famous for the stunning natural setting and healing waters. Mineral Springs in the reserve include Soda, Sulphur, Locarno and Wyuna. The site is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and forms part of Hepburn Regional Park.

My wife and I visited this place during our recent 3 day holiday in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs.

This Mineral Springs Reserve is the number one tourist attraction in Hepburn Springs for very valid reasons. It is a scenic and beautiful reserve.

Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve is about 150 years old. It is known as the 'Spa Centre of Australia' with, reputedly, 50% of the country's known and active mineral water outlets. The reserve is home to the famous and impressive 'Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa'.

Visited the area as it’s renowned for the Springs. Left wondering was the fuss is about.
We found a couple of hand pump bores, some working, one not. No bubbling water, no nice streams or picturesque views.
In fact the gardens were a disgrace. The lawn areas were 2ft high and need cutting, couldn’t walk on it , the amount of weeds Blackberry bushes and thistles was a joke. It looks like no one has taken care of the place for years. It appears to be a council run park/garden, if so, very poorly
