Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I spent a little time here and bought a print and a book which was unusual for me. This Information Centre offered a lot more than most. Well worth dropping in.

This information centre has great local information from helpful staff. The team provide up to date details on all the local happenings. Plenty of maps and information to take away. First place to visit when you arrive in the region.

My wife and I visited this place when we arrived in Daylesford. We collected some maps and brochures that were useful for our holiday (two nights) in Daylesford and Hepburn Springs.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of car parking spots outside. There is a public toilet next to this Centre which was clean.

The station was built in 1906 and was the third building to house the fire brigade, the first being on the corner of Victoria & Bridport Streets. (The fire station moved back to a new site in Bridport Street in recent years.) The building is eye-catching from the outside, sadly the interior has been modernised to the point that no original feature can be recognised.

Once you step in side there is a modern and open Visitor Centre. The staff are professional and happy to answer questions or make suggestions. There is a large range of brochures available and also a good amount of local produce items on sale.

Went here to pick up some information leaflet and to get some advice on things to see, but sadly the Visitors information office was closed due to staffing problems. Very disappointing.

I came into the information centre with one small question in mind, and instead I came out with a wealth of knowledge about how to enrich my short stay in Dalesford.

They have a plethora of brochures to help assist in your decision making about how to carry out your stay.

The staff are kind, and determined to help you in any way they can.

I thought I was going to have a slow relaxing stay in Dalesford, but instead I was busy visiting all these impressive Dalesford attractions.

Although Covid has curtailed the retail activities, you can still call in for brochures, maps and a cold drink. We collected what we needed and went for lunch nearby. They also had restaurant menus and brochures.
