Secret Forest Walks has unique outdoor activities to enrich your Daylesford and Hepburn visit. Our fun and challenging GPS Treasure Hunt at Lake Daylesford is a hit with families, and for friends enjoying some time away together. With our Garmin GPS units, you’ll be searching for hidden objects, cleverly concealed around our beautiful lake and mineral springs to solve a puzzle and receive a prize. Bring a group and make it a team challenge. Or put on your walking shoes and experience the beauty and seclusion of the nearby Wombat Forest, using our specially programmed hand held GPS units as your guide. Choose from a selection of carefully mapped scenic bushwalks to suit your tastes and abilities. We also have special combinations of Treasure Hunts and walks designed for conference groups and organisations looking to develop connectedness and teamwork or simply to have some fun together. Treasure Hunt, 1, 2 or 3 people - $50. 4 + people $15 pp- U/5 free. Walks from $80 solo + $20 pp.

The secret forest walk is a great activity for families to explore the lake surrounding, learning a bit of history and most of all having a great time together. Brendon was lovely and accommodating to all our needs. Thank you again for such a fun activity! Highly recommended!

Brandon’s scavenger hunt was such a fun and engaging experience! With 5 of us adults and 5 children split into two groups, we loved the beautiful walk and challenges along the way. Brandon was absolutely fabulous, very friendly and helpful. A perfect family activity when visiting Daylesford.

Our already amazing annual staff day was made even better with the addition of Secret Forest Walks activities with Brendan and team. It's a challenge wrangling a group of 75 people but the day went off without a hitch. Beautiful weather, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides plus the amazing Hepburn backdrop made for a special day. Brendan is helpful, organised and very professional - highly recommend Secret Forest Walks for all groups big and small.

This experience was so much fun. Great for all ages. We had an awesome time looking for clues while learning about Lake Daylesford. Highly recommend as an activity for friends and family groups!

We had so much fun on the walk, even in the rain! All the little activities along the way were fun to do. Brendan was entertaining and made you feel welcome straight away. My wife is 33 weeks pregnant and managed the walk well with no rush to finish in a certain time frame.

We were two families with 3 kids, although Brendan suggested we split up to stay competitive but we decided to do the activity together so all the kids can have fun. We basically let the kids be in charge and followed them as they very quickly learnt to use the GPS navigator. It was good fun and a great learning exercise for them. I can not recommend it enough and Brendan was a wonderful host and guide.
