A feast for the senses, the gallery is more than a three level haven of fine art in an historic 19th century mansion. With its decadent retail areas, Mediterranean restaurant, relaxing Altar bar and lounge, restored chapel, nuns museum, penthouse apartment...

The Art was not that compelling and apart from being a nice walk to get there I cannot think of a reason to go

Interesting place to visit, great artworks but also to learn the history and see were the nuns lived was surprising, especially the lower level. A bit eerie. The chapel is beautiful and the gardens if the weather is good are lovely to walk through.

Was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. The property is spectacular, amazing history and the art gallery is first class. The wait staff at the cafe were friendly and accomodating, enjoyed our afternoon throughly. Highly recommended

From the minute we arrived the greeting or lack of from the ever so rude staff was very disappointing. It was just a continual roll of bad events after this. Specifically went for Tea and Scones. Order was taken, tea delivered followed by 10mins latter that there was none left. Pretty sure you would have known this earlier!

Autumn is a great time to visit Daylesford. The trees have turned and the reds, browns and yellows are spectacular. It was a mild midweek day and after doing a bit of shopping in the main street we decided to have lunch at the Convent Gallery. Having not been there for over 10 years it was good to see the... Very interesting to walk around the gardens and take in some of the spectacular views. The art on the walls and the gift shop had plenty to interest an inspire.

The kitchen was obviously understaffed. Lunch was by booking only so they cannot say that they were surprised by the numbers. We waited almost an hour for our meal that was disappointing with minute portions and overcooked vegetables. The waitresses were exceptional and pleasant in their duties but it was the kitchen that let them down. Although I have lived... More

This is a tranquil and inspiring spot to climb to - although the art is agnostic, the setting is clear and you'd be insensitive not to be reflective on what other inhabitants aspired to achieve.
