Nice friendly compact museum, interesting for both locals and non locals. In town location just off High Street, bus stop about 100 yards.

Arrived here just as it opened and had a good chat to the volunteers before having a look around. As it’s not a big museum, I expected to only be in there for half an hour but I was in there for an hour! Fascinating...More

Attended RAF nurses talk this evening. Very interesting and informative about nurses thought out the years to present date. East Grinstead Museum make you feel very welcome and a great venue for theses evening talks ..

Tiny museum in two rooms. The first room is distinctly quirky. The second one, about Archibald McIndoe and the advent of plastic surgery, is fascinating. Well worth the visit.

A little gem in the very heart of East Grinstead . A truly fantastic exhibition of East Grinstead past and the amazing account of the wonderful work Sir Archibald McIndoe a pioneer surgeon . Free to enter highly recommended.

Great small restaurant, with changing exhibitions. And artefacts of Sir Archibald McIndoe - pioneering burns surgeon who was based and operated in East Grinstead.

WEnt to East grinstead for the Bluebell Railway and had a wander round the historic town. Really surprised to find a wonderful town museum with loads of information about the place which really made the rest of the visit more interesting. The really interesting stuff...More
