Visited Thirsk on Market day and was surprised how many stalls there were. They went all along the side of main street in a couple of rows. Still plenty of parking nearby too!

Whilst visiting Thirsk found great value in the market. The vegetables on sale were great quality and value, one third of the price charged by supermarkets, and locally grown. Nice to be able to support local traders.
Thirsk is well worth a visit as it is a nice market town,also the world of James Herriott museum is worth visiting as well if you watched all creatures great and small on the television,it is quite cheap to get in and it takes a...More
I did some digging online. One site stated "Thirsk Market days are Mondays and Saturdays." I haven't been yet, but am going to try to make it next Monday. I would post the site but TA doesn't like that.
