The Winster Market house is in the middle of the most picturesque village. The house itself is not particularly interesting. It is a small building with one room on the first floor that had a few displays covering the history of the village, it’s school...More

After travelling a long way, it was no more than an old place with one room upstairs. Northing inside except for a notice board. It is unmanned and free to visit. It seemed more like a meeting place for youngsters, who were busy playing inside,...More

This is a lovely village with a lovely sloping green and pond. We were there to see the frogs spawning. Staying in the fabulous Winster Hall - lots of gorgeous accommodation for a biggish party/family. Don;t miss the Winster Market hall and village model -...More

If you want to know about the village of winster it's worth visiting this place. The building itself is stooped in history.

The Winster Market House is a small, handsome, fully enclosed structure with the village of Winster wedged around it. It is well worth a stop if you are in the area. The four star rating is out of comparison to the larger market houses I...More

Interesting exhibit on the history of Winster. Good for a diverting 10 minute stop off if you're staying in Winster or travelling through, but not worth a detour

Free entry via the stairs to one floor containing basically a short history of the building and the village of Winster. Plenty of free on street parking and the village is worth checking out. Not worth a special trip but may be of some interest...More

Don't expect great things from this small, historic National Trust property. As their guide book indicates it's open during the day, unstaffed and free, and that's because there's not much to it. The outside is a landmark and impressive, set amidst other old buildings of...More

Its looks attract you... You go in... The sense of the past is immense. The photographic display is great. The manner in which this place has been maintained is a massive credit to whichever authority has done so. Lovely!
