We spent the afternoon exploring the cemetery and church. The Grave of Little John is well marked and the church was beautiful.

This was a quick visit to somewhere we’d always driven past and never stopped before. It’s worth a look if you happen to be in the vicinity. Lovely setting, well maintained church yard and the kids were interested in the folklore.

Beautiful church, with beautiful views. Easy to find Little John's Grave. Church was open and nice to look inside. Worth the steep short climb.

This beautiful church provided sanctuary from the rain (for an hour), and afterwards a visit to LJ's grave. Afterwards, we walked down to the cricket pitch and into Hathersage

If you are in any way into English folklore, then why not park up in Hathersage, and walk the slight windy atmospheric incline to St Michaels, just to feel the ambience of the place, and take in the grave of Little John. It'll take you...More

First visited this site 35 years ago when walking the Peakland way. Nice walk both to and from the church as we had parked in the centre of town. Worth a visit if you are in the area
