Parking is free and the car park isn’t far from the playground if you have kids. If you go up towards the pond there’s ducks to feed.

Visited here today with 3 young children, had a really nice time and the miniature railway was excellent. The (fat controller) as he calls himself was a pleasure too be around, and really friendly. Would definitely recommend coming here as I will be visiting again...More

lovely family park, nice feel about it. Lots going on. modern play area, ducks to feed, stream to paddle in, areas to play football and basket ball, miniature railway to ride on, woodland areas to walk in.

Hi the park isn't that big so it wouldn't take you 2 hours there are lots of lovely walks, you could park your car there and set off from there and make your way through the park and then up to Old Glossop and then up passed Shire hill all the paths are clear so you would be ok or you could go up towards they are dirt tracks but there not very muddy. There is a nice pub called the Wheatsheaf f that does lovely food
