All town parks should be like this.

We were staying locally and found the park whilst walking our dog. What a truly excellent park.

It was immaculate and had every facility needed - formal and informal gardens, a river running through it, tennis and basket ball courts and a brilliant children's play ground. It also has some form little railway running through it - we arrived late and didn't see it working though.

Well done to the local council for such a fabulous facility.

Staying in Glossop for a couple of days. Needed somewhere to walk our pup off lead. We really enjoyed our walks in the evening. Fergus enjoyed them more

Enjoyed a stroll around this popular and well maintained park with a pleasing variety of floral displays, trees, shrubs and borders. Facilities include tennis courts, miniature golf, a bowling green, children's play area and miniature railway.

Great park
Aug. 2020 • Family
We go to this park several times a year. It is a large park with various sections. Including a hard court tennis court, crazy golf, a large pond with ducks, geese and other wildlife, it also has a river running through where you can see wild fish, loads of gardens with flowers and ornamental trees, very accessible for wheelchair users. Has a cafe selling hot and cold drinks, ice creams, snacks and balls. It also has a minature railway with 2 diesel locomotives where you can have a ride on. Although this did not appear to be running the day we visited. Well tended Gardens and not much litter. A fair amount of free car parking. Although it can get busy. A lovely park.

Duck weather but lovely park
Feb. 2020 • Solo
Visited on a Saturday morning while a storm was blowing through. The river was nearly washing the bridge away (next to car park). I went for the parkrun - lots of lovely paths - mix of tarmac and trail - the duck pond was overflowing so a good foot wash as we went by, quacked on by the ducks. Lovely little park - better in the sunshine. I would hope to return.

Lots to do but bloody freezing!
Feb. 2020 • Family
Decided on a cold February to visit Manor Park for the first time... It was freezing but plenty for kids to do... 5 of them from 12 down to 2!! Toddler area was good and older area kept them entertained, the river kept them very happy!! Parking area is good, once I found it, despite satnav taking me to pedestrian entrance. Would go again in the warmer weather 😉
