Great walk and not too challenging for anyone who is in decent health. You can either start at the bottom of the pass and make it challenging or you can park up the top of the pass an make it easier. I would just say...More

Having left Edale and gone up over Jacobs Ladder bearing left at top around over top to Mam Tor, along the ridge and ending a beautiful days walk with a descent past Losehill and into Castletown. Highly recommended

Always enjoy the walk here when visiting castleton, it’s a steady climb to the top of mam tor but when you reach the top the view is stunning, well worth a visit.

Started our walk from Mam Tor car park and walked up until Losehill and came the same way back. Took us about 3h as we were taking in the views on the way and had a small break at Losehill. The walk was relatively easy...More
