Great place to visit with lots to see and very interesting on the history of Carsington ,it's location is in a beautiful surroundings but if go go get a all day parking ticket only £5 .well worth a visit .

We visited here with our two grandchildren on a cold day in October. They enjoyed the outdoor play area and loved the indoor interactive area informing us about water

Good location for family cycling. A few hills around the far side of the lake but nothing a competent 6 year old cyclist can’t handle.

For the outdoor life this is great .Good walking & cycling around the reservoir. is approx. 8m. good visitors centre. Car park expensive if only going for a short period. .There is sailing and all sorts of water sports plenty for everybody.More
