What a great experience . Coffee was wonderful with some unique drinks options . We were not ready to eat but menu looked very interesting. Some of the antiques for sale in the cafe/shop were really quirky ..... old Clocks, old hats, old photos . Very worthwhile . Proprietors very personable .

I visited here at the weekend with my family, we stopped on our way to the South Lakes Safari Park. As a complete novice, I have recently tried to explore meditation and have been watching you tube videos as to how to go about this. I was curious as to what this visit would bring. We attended the daily 12.30... More

Lovely place, the people are so warm, friendly and helpful. Delicious cakes in the cafe, the warm scone with ham and cream was delicious! Great to be able to wander around the grounds and felt very honoured to take part in a free meditation session. Left feeling very peaceful and content.

Have visited this temple several times. A very tranquil place to be. The grounds are beautiful as well as the temple and the priory. There are walks through the grounds down to the water overlooking the bay. There is also a great cafe in the main building with lovely food and drinks.

We have been here several times and can't think of a more suitable word than peaceful. We attended a free 15 minute meditation, had a lovely walk around the beautiful grounds and had lunch in the cafe. The grounds are really lovely, there are woodlands and a walk to the beach (quite steep). There is a shop which has lots... More

Great cafe with nice big pots of tea. No soup left must have had a rush because it was chilly. Usually you can have soup with a cheese scone which is my favourite. Nice grounds and a walk to the shore. Excellent shop. Great for Xmas presents.
