Had a quick walk around here during a stay at the nearby Newby Bridge hotel. There's a not a great deal to do here to be honest - small kids play area, ability to walk alongside the lake for a short journey and that's about it. There was a cafe but it was closed when we were there and there... More

I use Fell Foot Park to access the south end of Windermere for open canoeing and also with a sea kayak. The distance from the archway to waterhead is 10.2 miles and so a return journey is a great workout and time trial. Access is not as paddler friendly as it used to be, though the NT are building a... Visited as a National Trust member but free for non-members who may wish to make a small contribution. Car park with toilets and cafe in lovely old building by the lakeside. A new leisure centre is under construction presumably for water activities. It is a lovely park to walk around and view the lake and what is going on there... More

Beautiful surroundings and great place for the kids to run around like crazy things. Relaxed wander by the lake while the kids enjoy running around. Great play park. Well maintained.

We love the walk round Fell Foot, stunning scenery and time away from the gadgets for all. Will continue to visit.

We stumbled upon Fell Foot Park as we couldn't get way access to the walk we wanted to do on the opposite side of lake Windermere. Our 9.5 year old son loved the log obstacle course and the zip line. There was enough space for our dog to run about and throw a ball for him. Our son also enjoyed... More

We attended Park Run while visiting the area. Nice park with plenty of parking, good but challenging park run course, and a nice cafe for a coffee and breakfast after.

We stopped over just by chance. So glad we did. Such a beautiful park with plenty to see and do, even as the season is winding down. We popped into the gift shop and were served by a lovely Canadian woman. She was warm, welcoming and charming - even our dog was impressed (and he's usually a bit frosty with... More
