Visited for Morning service on Trinity Sunday The Book of Common Prayer was used.- lovely to read those meaningful words as they were written. Very friendly parishioners and Vicar. I understand they organise parties with a guide.. hopefully next time.

This is a lovely village to walk around and very accessable. This arch is great piece of history right in the middle of the village, just off the square.

This building never fails to impress those who stumble upon it when they visit Cartmel village. The reaction is of awe and astonishment. Why such a huge village church? What is its history? How did it survive the Dissolution of the monasteries in 1536? Why...More

Lovely old Priory with an interesting history. There are guided tours which I think would be worthwhile although we did not go on one so I cannot comment on the content. Very old graves tho most of the graveyard is fenced off
