Well worth a visit; helpful staff, beautifully restored telling the story of the Mill and interesting facts about the local area. The cascades were amazing the day we visited and the outside area kept the children amused for ages. Highly recommend a visit. Lots to see and do in this lovely village.

Visited today for the first time with our family (kids 8 and 14). We all loved it - lovely, enthusiastic and knowledgable volunteers; COVID-safe environment; brilliant to see the mill in action. Would highly recommend and we will be back.

It won't take long, but it's worth a visit - price is very reasonable and the restoration work is impressive. There is a working water wheel, and the mechanisms inside are in motion to show how it would have worked back in the day. Staff were welcoming and the social distancing worked well via timed slots that you book in advance.

This place is really amazing to see, beautifully restored, great informative displays and stunning scenery. Our children loved the toy at the end and played with it for ages! Well worth an hour or two, and then grab an ice cream from the shop next door.
