Just had to wander up through the archway which leads to the church entrance. Very interesting albeit rather emotive slabs on the walkway. Interesting columns to the side of the archway.

The spire just draws attention to the remarkable building of the church . As we used to travel to Macclesfield we always remarked how lovely it was an outstanding place of worship

Visited St Mary's for a sit down and quiet reflection. Left to my own thoughts without anyone coming up to me asking me if I was alright. If you like old churches, visit St Mary's, very interesting and much to admire.
