Everyday i travel from home into the town and have to cross over the bridge and onto a roundabout which links the A1101 with the Lynn Road to Kings Lynn. Dependent on the tides in is nice to get a quick glance of the rive Nene and all the little boats bobbing up and down in river. The tide rises... More

Already knew there was a yacht harbour in the town. Very easy to get to, but difficult to see much as there is a lot of foliage obscuring the view.

Wisbech Yacht Harbour has become an amazing, fullfilled project. Various funding streams have helped this project grow and it is now 'a bit special'. All we need now is to install a tidal barrier North of Wisbech and this could be a 'dream come true' for many forms of water craft including leisure inland vessels.

What a surprise to find a tidal harbour so far in-land, really well laid out and a great place to while away an hour or two.

Wisbech port is just that a port that small boats can more or the odd ship can visit. Apart from the councils extravigant waist of money called the boat house there is nothing but businesses. A lot of money has been spent changing roads to make life difficult for local people who live behind the dock area and the business... More

It is a very pleasant spot by the river overlooking the harbour. It is very little used and although there is a nice café it is closed at weekends when people may have leisure time. In fact nothing is made of this resource I suppose because of a mothballed building project nearby and the fact that nothing is made of... More

we didn't realise there was a harbour. The road we took was through an industrial area so we were very surprised to find this little gem.

The Marina has really improved the area and made it a pleasant place to visit. Looks really clean and tidy too.

Situated on a tidal river miles from the sea. Visitors cannot gain access to the boat area. Can only be viewed from the nearby roadbridge and from the opposite bank of the river. Few amenities in area. Cost local taxpayers a small fortune to develop and has attracted few boats and no development of the land around.
