National Trust ex weekend home built for the Rothschilds late 1800s and looks like a French fairy tale chateau. You know you are in for a treat when it takes ages to drive from the entrance gate to the car park and you see the smart reception area and buses waiting to take you to the house. Magnificent property crammed... More

I went with two friends on a beautiful sunny day and can say that this is one of the most beautiful National Trust property's that I've visited. Ample parking on arrival and a shuttle bus to take you to the house and grounds- very convenient and good for those with mobility issues. Our afternoon tea was wonderful with unlimited tea... More

Visited waddesdon Manor today, walked round the grounds taking in the views of the house on a very beautiful day. Bought tickets to see the interior and the exhibition of French almanacs (of interest to me being a French teacher!) Plenty to see and lots of eating opportunities! Will visit again.

Lovely place. Beautiful rooms with a lot of detail and interesting information. Staff members were friendly and informative. The tea time was delicious. The gardens were bright and colorful. Love the Aviary with the keeper telling us about the special birds.

Worth half a day a least for a visit. Big house in very large grounds. We were fortunate and had the last two tickets of the day to see the inside of the "house". The interior and its contents are very impressive. The Rothchilds' wealth is displayed throughout the furnishings, art, decoration etc. A place where Royalty and very VIPs... More

This is a beautiful house with a stunning interior but the opulence is also somehow repellent. There is marble and gilt, gold and silver aplenty, and so many artefacts that it is a sensory overload - by all accounts a conspicuous showing of how wealthy the family is and how they want everyone to be aware of it too. It... More

We booked a last minute hotel in the area, deciding to visited Waddesdon Manor. Our advice is book in advance for the house, we travelled 3 hours and not able to get in. NT control the amount of public access, which is good in a way of preserving the property. It was great to see so many children enjoying the... More

One of the most beautiful houses with stunning gardens that we have visited. Plenty of parking. The walk from the car park to the manor takes about 20 mins or you can take the shuttle bus that runs regularly. Stunning spring gardens, and a beautiful woodland walk with lots of woody features. The house was full of beautiful furniture, paintings... More

School trips are well catered for with a fantastic education department. The house and grounds are stunning. There is quite a walk between the main house and The Stables' but allows children to let off steam.
