All ski resorts have chair lifts, but ours take you to new heights. That’s what we mean when we say,” Refined by Nature.” Solitude Mountain Resort is located a short 40-minute drive from the Salt Lake International Airport. With over 1200 acres of skiable terrain, Solitude is one of Utah’s most intimate and inviting winter resorts. Over 500 inches of annual snowfall covers: 65 named trails, three bowls and groomers for every ability level. We also offer a Fun Park, as well as a Nordic Center. And don’t forget Honeycomb Canyon. It has some of the most awe inspiring, lift-served terrain in the country. With hardly any lift lines you won’t have to wait to find your Solitude. You’ll be deep in powder before you know it.

I was looking to ski in Utah - easy flight in and easy drive to the slopes. I didn't really want the crowds, cost and commercialism of Park City - and the "expensive and uppity" feel of Park City or Deer Valley which I've heard and read about, so we picked a smaller resort - and we were not dissapointed.... Lot of great downhill skiing and vertical drop. Great price of a day pass on Liftopia. Had a great day spring skiing. Make sure to go to the top for the long runs and great scenery.

Easy drive from Park City and even easier from SLC. Prices and snow better than Park City. Lifts have been upgraded and they service great runs on a variety of terrain. Ate lunch at the little village near the Apex lift and it was delicious. Can't wait to return for a true powder day or even a couple of days.

We didn't stay at the resort... we stayed in Midvale and drove up every day. We are a family of 5... wide age ranges and abilities... Two adults, a High School Girl, a middle school boy, and a 5th grade boy... The boys have never really seen snow, much less skied. I have skied a fair amount all over the... More

Skied here in late March with a group of friends and had a fantastic time. There was a good mix of terrain, from easy to difficult, groomers to tree runs. The snow was great when we were there, and the extra elevation over Park City definitely helps this. Will definitely come for a day next time I ski Utah!

Just returned from a trip to Solitude. Such a wonderful mountain, love everything about this place! Had a great little dessert sampling and wine at St. Bernards and loved sitting in front of the fireplace and visiting with our friends. The ambiance was like being in our own home.

The village of Solitude is petite and very pretty. It remains a mystery as why S is still somewhat of a secret compared to Alta,Snowbird etc. We thank you, for it is plenty of room this fantastic ski day, widely varied terrain and far away from any large-scale ski resorts. The layout of the lifts leaves some to be desired and the... More

Very friendly staff. Karl, my instructor was very helpful with ski tips. Check the weather and it's an inexpensive uber ride to the resort

On our last day of our trip, my daughter (boarder) and I (skier) went to Solitude. Chose it over snowbird. We are experienced, but not looking for double black diamond runs. This place was great. The snow got a little slushy and the end of the day, but only Mother Nature can control that. We didn't eat a full meal... More
