This was worse snorkel experience - six of us all masks leaked and we all took in salt water. No fins and we were swimming against current. Our guide had fins and kept telling us to hurry up. Only saw two turtles and one stingray....More

We drove there..ten min drive from hotel You can do it yourself if you bring your own life jacket and snorkeling gear. my boys and I did it ourselves....saw two huge turtles and fishes.. the beach is super packed and filled with sea weeds

Firstly you will get stopped on the road into the beach .just say you are going to have lunch. Then pass through the large gates and park on the left cost 20 for an hour. Have your own snorkelling gear and walk to the beach....More

After a second holiday at bahia princepe we had a day out at akumal beach well swimming with the turtles was absolutely amazing it wasnt expensive but the most amazing thing to do you must try it out

Amazing BUT please only use Natural (no chemical) sunscreen. The chemicals in sunscreen are really harmful to the turtles. We did with an organised trip with TUI combined with underground cenote. Don't normally like organised trips but on this occasion was pleased we had chosen...More

Visiting the Mayen ruins first, and then swimming with the turtles, through Lomas travel. Very well guided, everything we needed was there (equipment) and very good explanation.
