This is a beautiful centre of town with a majestic cathedral, taller and larger than most churches in Mexico. The white marble altar is impressive indeed. The plaza has a french quiosko that is spectacular with the jacaranda trees all around. Nice cafes and restaurants...More
We enjoyed the center of town in Lagos de Moreno. It was so nice and friendly especially during the August festival. It's very colonial with very, very few tourists in sight. Prices are quite reasonable.
Worth visiting, nice break from grungy Guadalajara as it was clean, quiet, and interesting. I found people to be respectful, smiling, and super helpful. Best sites were the main city square and its cathedral, and the Templo del Calvario. Best food was at Linda Lagos...More
