Las nubes is a very nice place to visit and enjoy a view of the valley, as soon as you get to the gates they start opening like if they were waiting for you, no one stopped us and we followed the path to their tasting room up the hill.
As we got there Oscar explained us the different packages they offered and we ended up getting the $250 pesos reserve tasting which included the Columbus, Nimbus, Syrah and Petite Syrah.
Oscar then explained to us that they did not serve their wines at the table but we had to get up for every tasting which was fine although a little dissapointing.
We then started our tasting where Guillermo and Jorge explained the different wines we were tasting, they were very nice but the amount of people made it hard for them to be able to give you torrough explanations.
Their wines were all very clear although they felt a little bit on the more comercial side kinda like LA Cetto, still good wines just not my favorites.
We also got a cheese/bread board which was fantastic it included chocolate datiles, some tip of chimichurri a big piece of cheese and bread.in olive oil.
Overrall it is a nice place to chill with friends and enjoy the view but if you are looking for a big explanation or very artsy wines might not be the best place but definitely one worth visiting

There are so many wineries to visit that it becomes overwhelming. Las Nubes was recommend by our host and it did not disappoint. Absolutely the best view! The wine was great! We bought a couple bottles and will definitely be back.

As a winemaker I recognize a winery that has no knowledge or at least doesn't use std winemaking principles. Beautiful place. Server asked if we wanted 6 month or 12 month barrel aged wines. We opted for 12 since no winery ages red wines for 6 months. The 12 month wine was definitely aged in a tank and had some oak chips or staves added. No microoxygenation, which gives wine the age and character you would expect. Their 12 month Petit Sirah was awful. Beautiful place, bad wine.

I was very excited to bring my family and friends to this location as it does have incredible views of the Valle. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We were greeted and sat rather quickly as we were one of the first groups to arrive. Rather than a wine tasting we ordered a bottle of wine we were familiar with. I would definitely recommend Cumulus. We let our server know we were very hungry. At first he said we don't have food. Then he said, well we do have two different cheese plates with a variety of meats and olive tapenade. Again, we reiterated that we were hungry so we opted for the "larger" plate. It was definitely not sufficient for 5 as he informed. We asked for more bread and it never came. We needed our water bottle opened and he went for the tool and stopped and talked to another group rather than say, give me a moment. In our hour long visit, he only came to our table once after we tried to get his attention. Had the service been better we would have definitely ordered more wine and more food but we opted to go elsewhere. Overall, I would recommend this location for the view and the tranquility.

The location makes this a popular destination for groups and tour buses. We enjoyed our time but would have liked, along with our wine tasting, more attention from the staff with more of an explanation about the winery and some of the wines. The service felt rushed and inattentive in that way. We did end up purchasing a lovely bottle of their wine.

Las Nubes can get busy, and loud. If you go during the week the crowd is much less and you can enjoy the great view. The wines are not the best but they do have a nice variety of reds and whites. I do think that is most stop mostly do to the nice view. The service is also knowledgable and friendly. This winery is dog friends that is a big plus

Beautiful view of the valley but visit just don't taste wine there, it's highly over priced and the wine wasn't anything special.

The best part of visiting Las Nubes was enjoying its beautiful view of Valle de Guadalupe. Few wineries can afford such a breathtaking sight-see and Las Nubes takes full advantage of it.
We enjoyed the Reserve wines tasting experience, which included what I assumed are their signature drinks (it was a little bit unclear) for around 13 dlls: Cumulus, Nimbus, Syrah and Petite Sirah. All of these were good red wines, but I personally didn't find them exciting or enticing. They were good, and that was it.
Tasting at Las Nubes is also a little bit different than in most wineries. Instead of waiting at your table to be served, you are given a wine glass that you must take to a small counter-island in order to be filled. Once there, you'll be given a brief explanation about the wine you're being served before your sommelier turns to the next customer. This strategy is understandable because Las Nubes is often managing high attendance; however, it can sometimes feel a little bit rushed -especially if you're someone who likes to ask questions like myself.
Our sommeliers of the day where Guillermo and Jorge. Guillermo was very enthusiastic; while Jorge showed a deep knowledge of the wines we were tasting. I particularly liked their explanations regarding the origins of Petite Sirah's name.
Along with our drinks, we did tried the cheese platter (~6 dlls) and it was delicious! The cheese platter includes 4 bite-size tapas, a small artisan cheese, some bites of chocolate covered dates, and 4 slices of bread with olive oil.
Overall, we had a good experience. The view definitely adds some extra points there and the good taste of their wines make this a good spot to just chill and relax after a long day of wine-tasting.

They have good tastings tailored to your palette. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful with wine selections and tastings. They strive to give you a taste of their variety, educate and enjoy your experience. They are friendly, inviting and allow you to enjoy the grounds. This is one of the most scenic vineyard you will find in El Valle. Definitely worth the trip. Food is tasty- try the pulpo- delicious.
