It was a cooler, rainy day, so there were less people around, but that was fine. Easy to see everything that way. We ran out of time the first day, but they allow you to come back the next day for free.

Worthwhile tourist attraction on the history of SK and lovely tourist shop too. But they host a lot of big occasions as well. I cannot reccommend the caterers for this venue enough. We had a wedding there and they catered for our every need.

My family visited the museum in July'2018 and were disappointed in the condition and appearance of the exhibits. The whole self-guided exhibits of the town and homes are poorly described by lack of signage and volunteers to provide answers to questions. You walk and enter...More

Thank you for recognizing and understanding the challenges we face with respect to both financial and human resources. We do appreciate your feedback. A severe wind and rainstorm damaged much of the Ukrainian house exhibit and we are currently waiting for insurance before we proceed...More

Wonderful place to visit, especially from a historical perspective. I did a wedding shoot here and the backgrounds were awesome. Certainly a good place for home-schoolers to visit as well.

This is an outstanding museum which has gone "above and beyond' in recording much of the history of the North West through its well thought out displays.

Such a great museum filled with history. The children especially like the old buildings fill with old time tools, furniture, house hold items. We visit every summer. Also ask about events they will be hosting. Taste of Culture is one of my faves 😁.
