This Basilica is worth a visit. Visited by many pilgrims it is still spectacular to those less religious. Many believe in the healing properties. Parking is easy.

I brought a group of 30 for a visit last month. We did the self-guided tour. Beautiful building and impressive history, architecture, etc. Received good guidance in arranging our tour.

Go early before the crowds to see this in all its glory it is beautiful. The copper doors are a work of art as are the mosaics and statues. If you come to Quebec City don’t pass this up.

The cathedral is breath taking. Be sure to look down as well as up. The mosaic tile floor starts with the "Dance of Life" and then the "7 Deadly Sins" leading up to the main altar. Watch for the spot in the floor where Pope...More

Dating from the 1600s, this is the most recent building (the 5th) to occupy the site. It was rebuilt in the 1930s and is beautifully decorated inside with stain glass, mosaics, and wood carvings. There is a complete church dedicated to the Virgin Mary in...More

The only reason you would go there would be to go see the cathedral, it is a wonderful church , you could spend around 3 - 4 hours to visit , but unless you are a devoted Christian there is nothing much to do in...More

The cost is approximately $2.00. However, other attractions are free. For example the basilica and the prayer stairs.

The cathedral is fully accessible. There is an elevator to move from the different levels. It is a bit off the usual hallways but it is easy to find. There would be no issue with manoeuving a personal mobility scooter... More

If you go to their website, you will see all the options. Depending if you want a French or English mass and the time of year. Their schedule changes all the time.
