Just as you get to Souris (pronounced - Sourrie)from Charlottetown the beach is just after a bridge and if you are not looking too carefully you might miss it. Renown for its sea-glass finds this beach has beautiful sand and if the tide is out...More

Stopped on our way up to Basin Head. Couple of eateries and very small beach so don't plan on staying or swimming and sunbathing.

This was a great beach to spend an afternoon. The kids searched for seaglass and washed up jellyfish. There are a few small shops along the beachfront: food, jewelry, and Chef Michael Smith cooking items.

Enjoyed this beach at low tide, can walk out quite a ways. Beware that we did see alot of jelly fish around. We also had fun looking and finding sea glass. Nice part was that it wasn't a very busy beach.

There are nice gift shops along the beach area. A few spots to buy food and ice cream. There is also a splash pad for the kids to play in on a nice warm summer day!

So much to explore here....museum, children's activities. The most important thing to experience is the wonderful beach!

This response may be a bit late. The Souris beach is a great spot for sea glass. Get there early at low tide because it is now know for the stash!
